What brings me to Passim today is another leap into the “larger life.” It’s afternoon and the club is not yet open to the public for the evening live performances. The chef and manager allowed me to come into this incredible performance space so that I could conduct an interview for IndieFlix Play It Again Podcast in quiet, without the street traffic of Harvard Square seeping into the podcast.

The good news is that the site is coming along, slowly but surely, and when it comes, it’ll be a real humdinger. Assuming, of course, that’s something all you readers would want.

It’s definitely going to be different from the book, but the way the book was written would be really hard to create a movie from.

Looking back, my life three years ago seems almost foreign to me now. If someone would’ve told me that on my 28^th birthday I’d find myself where I am today I would’ve probably called that person crazy.

The first ever Hot Rod and Monster Film Festival will kick off on July 18 and July 19 in Seattle. The festival will include hot rods, chopper, zombies, pin-up usherettes and beer.

Jason Tippet’s film “Thompson” packs a lot of punch for a short about two slow-moving high school friends from Newhall, California. Matt and Ryan have known each other since second grade and are quickly approaching adulthood without much of a game plan.
