Support Female Filmmakers at SFWFF 2009
Join in the festivities without leaving your laptop! IndieFlix is kicking off the 2009 film festival season with the Indie-fest Online Film Competition at the San Francisco Women’s Film Festival.
WATCH all the films online for FREE and When you are done VOTE for your favorite. The winning film receives a Theatrical Screening at the festival and is offered a preferred distribution deal.
The competition runs from March 13 – March 29 at midnight.

Fast Friday: Director David Rowe documents the emergence of the prolific track bike scene in Seattle Washington. Started by Cadence Clothing founder and fixed-gear rider Dustin Klein, the monthly cycling event known as “Fast Friday” has grown into a showcase of today’s most talented riders.

Animation:
The Tragic Story of Nling: Nling is an impenetrable walled slum city whose inhabitants are cut off from the world outside. In this redemption story, animated entirely with paper print outs, a Nlingian man and his best friend Donkey tunnel beneath the wall to find food and alcohol. In his struggle to survive beyond the walls of a slum city, a man finds that he is no more humane than his animal friend.

Comedy:

Her idea of her soulmate. Does this man, Matthew, just exist in her imagination or is he out there somewhere? When Frank finally sets the wedding date himself, Stephanie has to face reality. In the moment of truth, Stephanie has to decide whether to follow her head or her heart. Finally she makes the first really adult decision of her life.
