Debuting at SIFF this year, Perfect 10 is the story of Mara, a woman hovering between plus-size and regular, who leaves her husband and career in Seattle to go on a road trip with her quirky best friend to Eastern Washington for their high school reunion. Things get complicated when she captures the interest of an old classmate – the perfect guy from high school who always just saw her as a friend. Will she give up the stability of a loving marriage for the validation of unrequited love?

Junko’s Shamisen

A young Japanese orphan and her mystical friend set out to exact poetic justice on a malovenant samurai lord who killed her grandfather. (At the end, you’ll never think of shamisens the same way again!)
