We had a great time sponsoring the SIFF online festival this year and are overwhelmed by the amount of support for the short films. All FutureWave films are directed by youth 18 and under. Each one was unique and thought-provoking.
Saturday’s FutureWave screening at the Egyptian was so much fun – the SuperFly and FutureWave shorts screened to thunderous applause. Everyone was so supportive, it was a great showing for students and film lovers of all ages. Scilla announced the FutureWave Online Audience Award winner, and gave second place winner Megan Baxter, with “I Just Am Who I Am,” special recognition.
