This week, Roy Street Coffee & Tea is featuring “Saint’s and Soldiers.” Director Ryan Little provides an action-packed movie, taking the audience through the 1940s as Hitler’s army blitzkriegs into Beligum, creating the Battle of the Buldge. As a result Corporal Nathan Greer and friend Sgt. Gordon Gunderson soon find themselves held captive with over one hundred other American Soldiers in a snow-covered field.

The Germans open fire on the American captives, and without weapons or food, the soldiers struggle the unforgiving winter climate and fight their way back to allied territory. This is based on the horrifying historical event known as the “Malmedy Massacre.”

Visit Roy Street Coffee and Tea this Wednesday and Sunday at 8 p.m. for a free screening!

“Saints and Soldiers” is available free to watch on Hulu and also available for purchase at IndieFlix.
